Quick question on dynomax mufflers ... .
I'm taking the cats and putting a dynomax muffler in the I pipe.
I have MAC mid-length headers and y-pipe going into a magnaflow cat-back with 3" piping. Dynomax has the option for both a 3" in/out and 3 1/2" in/out .... Is that the diameter of the pipe you are putting it on, or the diameter of the entrance/exit of the muffler itself?
Also, I want to get a flowmaster collecter for the end of the y-pipe ... what size do I need?

I got some Race Magnums a year ago to put on some Hookers. I got the 3" in/out and they fit snugly over the 3" collectors on the headers. So the diameter of the muffler is 3" ID. The collector or exhaust tubing would be 3" OD.
