Installing the ASP pulley

Installing the ASP pulley I've done a search and yet have found an answer to this so here is the question. I just got done pulling the stock pulley off and my dad was there and came up with an interesting question. He asked why wasn't there a groove in the pulley. I asked him what he meant and was told that on most pulleys there is a groove in it to line up on the crank shaft. This is how you're suppose to balance the crank up with everything. I told him I didn't have a clue why it didn't. So my question is this. Is the ASP pulley just suppose to slide on and then just bolt it on with the crank bolt, or is there anything else that I need to do?

That's what I thought. Thanks for the reply.
As said before it is somewhat internally balanced. You just need to make sure when you put it on that you get it on there far enough and it seats in the back. How is the car comming Jake?
