I need header recommendations

Default I need header recommendations

I have to decide between a set of long tubes, mid lengths, or shorties (stock ones just gotta go even if only to trade for looks). I live in northern Va so emissions and law enforcement are similar (if not worse) than California. I need to know if with hi-flow cats will i pass emissions testing? I have a bunch of mufflers to choose from cause I'm going to try to come up with a roush mustang style side exit exhaust for my camaro. I just finished a Y pipe version of the side exits and its sweet, just id like to change the headers cause my stockers look like ****, just doesnt go well with the N2O solenoids and braid stainless steel lines.

Im not too worried about sound because of the fact that i have a wide variety of mufflers to choose from, but id like to go with trual duals. and if i dont like the sound i have, i can just swap out the mufflers to the next set. Crafting my own h or x pipe will be dramatically easier with long tubes so im thinking ill go that route but id like opinions. I dont care much about power here, id mostly just like to clean up the looks under the hood and if i can get more power and sound while im at it, thats just gravy.

any ideas/opinions from you guys?

I have flp longtube headers. They were very easy to install on a lift and havent had any problems since i installed them which was about 4 months ago. If u want an x-pipe then dont go with flp because it comes with high flow cats and y-pipe. I have only heard one true dual system with flowmasters and it sounded good. I have gmmg exhaust and it sounds awesome go to www.gmmg.net and click on exhaust to hear theyre system.

get long tubes. shorty's aren't worth the money. i've got jethots on mine...they fit great, didn't hit anywhere, and i didn't have to grind at all. they also offer a catted y pipe.
