Default bolt on true duals x pipe

Hi guys I am thinking about starting to produce and sell a true duals kit that goes past the rear axle. Its going to be based off of the exhaust I currently have on my car right now. It's gonna be a little different because it's going to be a complete bolt on so no welding for the customer. It's a catless x-pipe, 2.5" diameter, all mandrel bends, great ground clearance (I'd say just as good as stock), and no annoying rattles what so ever, the kit bolts up with no drilling required and is super solid. Both pipes run over the axle towards the passenger side. The only thing is that I was planning on stopping the kit right past the rear axle, it will end with both pipes lined up straight with their respective outlets in the bumper so that all the customer as to do is buy their mufflers and tips and bolt them up there. I will also include 2 extra hangers with the kit to hang the mufflers with.

I was just wondering if you all thought that the kit would still be appealing to buy even though it does not come with mufflers or tips? Obviously if I added those in the price would have to be much higher, and plus this way you can pick the sound and look you want and also get the power of having true duals

It sparks my intrest. As long as price is right and has good fitment. Are you goin to use stainless or aluminized piping? Got any pics of your setup?

I'm going to prolly go with aluminized piping just for cost purposes because I really want this kit to be a pretty cheap kit for you all. And as far as fitment goes I'm going to do a couple test fit cars of course before I begin to sell them. Also I forgot to mention that these will bolt right up to pacesetter long tubes, as far as other LT's go they might fit or at least be real close so just a little modification will be neccessary. For the first while I'm going to guarantee fitment to pacesetter LT's and if you cant get the kit to fit properly I'll give money back and pay for the shipping to get back. I'll get pics of my setup on here soon. I'll get a price for you within the next few days, I got to figure out how much it will cost me to make and get the pipes bent.

Alright here are some pics, as far as that little U-piece goes that is welded in between the two pipes right after the axle, I'm going to try and find something to put there that looks a little nicer and cleaner. But like I said this setup is real solid and does not rattle at all in any places.

That looks pretty good.I am thinking of upgrading my exhaust and would like a dual setup like that;I don't want one that dumps before the axle.What mufflers are you using and can you give us a picture of rear of the car showing the mufflers and tips.I think your idea of selling just the pipes and letting everyone pick their own mufflers is a good one.I am interrested for sure.

Interested in a video of the exhaust. I would have to run cats and would perfer Stainless Steel but I will follow the thread.

curious if it would work with the aftermarket torque arm kits that weld to the sfc's or if you would have to use a full length one???

I'm really not too sure how it fits with aftermarket torque arms. There's a lot of hours put into this exhasut to get everything to fit right and not rub or ratlle anywhere. I'm not too sure if I can fit 3" in there. After I get the 2.5" kit made then I might try and see if I can fit 3" in there.

I'm glad you guys seem to like the pics and the idea. I'll attempt to get a price posted sometime this week.
