underdrive pulley opinions

i'd say save your money, people run the same exact times at the track after installation......i bought a March 25% because i read it has the best dampening capabilities (like the stock pulley, plus it came with the smaller overdrive alternator pulley).......really the only thing i can say about it is that when it's cold outside, my belt chirps until the car gets warm....it gets even worse when you try to spray that belt dressing on it.......kind of embarrasing when you start it in a parking lot with people around, here i've got this built, lowered, cammed muscle car and a squeaky *** belt......i can't really tell a performance difference, i honestly wish i would've just kept my stocker......the A/C still blows cold though, even on the hottest days

I say do it. I've had mine for a long time with no issues. Makes the motor rev quicker. With the under-drive pulley and a lighter then stock torque converter, my engine raps up/down very quickly from idle. That's gotta be worth something. Most report about 5-10 hp and .1 at the track although I have never confirmed this myself.
