98 ls1 swap into 2001 camaro? I'm looking at swapping a 98 ls1 into a 2001 camaro. Is there anything I should know? Will the motor wire up to the 01 wire harness and pcm?
You should be fine... off the top of my head, I do know you'll need to use a different coolant temp sensor since the 98 has an extra signal wire that controls the gauge, but other than that... the 01 harness should plug into the 98 sensors just fine. Good luck.
