99 ls1 top end stuff
99 ls1 top end stuff Just looking for opinions and ideas, I dont care if they are good or bad.
Starting with a 99 SS M6 Vert.
Plans:
SLP lid (picked up used from here)(tired of my clear lid)
Smooth bellows (just for looks)(again from here)
LS6 intake (got it from ebay, they go quick around here)
LS6 PCV upgrake with lines for under intake (ordered from gmpartsdirect, maybe ill get them someday)
Then Im considering injectors, I like off the shelf parts in case of roadside problems. Im looking at adapting in a set of LS7 injectors. If i read right, they should be ok stock (tuned) then be enough for a later cam swap.
I might mess with the TB, but not sure if the gain is worth it, if I do, Ill take care of it myself.
Thats the first phase for the top end, this all stemmed from a bad knock sensor and the snowball effect of "while its off"...
