Getting service oil light.
Getting service oil light. Its not a major deal but its one of those things that is freaking driving me crazy. After LQ9 swap the freaking service oil light is on. The car has good oil pressure and i have changed the oil, it was not that bad to start with but i changed it again any way so now its brand new. Sensor maybe?

Or am i just retarded and it was this easy.
follow these steps.
1. insert key and turn to the on position
2. within the first 10 secs of turning the key to on, press and release the gas pedal 3 times.
3. turn key back to the off position.
your engine oil service message should not come back on when you restart the car. and it will be off for quite some time.

the trip reset button is the easier way to do it but it will reset your trip meter. I've always used the gas pedal to reset it. The light being on is just for the oil life monitoring system. There isnt a sensor for it per say.
