what sensor/part is this? Hey everyone..
im helping a friend do a h/c swap on his 2000 t/a and when we were putting on the heads he noticed an open wire. we found out it belonged to this:
what is this part and can he run the car without it until he gets a new one? im sure its an inexpensive part that can be picked up from autozone but we dont want to have to put off the long awaited start up if its an insignificant part.
Also, where exactly does it plug into?

the broken part screwed into the block behind the intake will squirt oil everywhere. do not start it. plug should be hangin out back there too (think it is black and green). pull the intake off to get to it.
