^ That was my 2nd exhaust set up when I broke the rusted y pipe to cat bolts... haha set off my neighbors car alarm every morning when I went to work, even with the stock manifolds.

I'm currently running a Stainless Works O/R Y through the stock muffler/manifolds. It gets pretty damn loud and raspy at about the 1800-2200 RPM mark, but everywhere else in the RPM band it has basically the stock exhaust note to it, it's just a lot deeper. Don't really experience a lot of drone other than when you're just cruising along slowly. If you can deal with the fumes, I think just cutting off your cats and replacing them with some sort of piping might be a better alternative. It will be a lot louder than stock, just not super duper obnoxious.

That T/A sounds like absolute horse ****! It sounds like an overgrown Civic. No one can honestly say that sounds good.

I have H/C through SLP Longtube ORY and Slp Dual / Dual w/cutout. My car sounds like an animal with the cutout open but it is nice to have the silence of the muffler when need be. It doesn't sound raspy at all.
