Default Alternator Keeps goin bad HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

2000 ls1 firebird motor

this will be the 3rd alt i have put in it

my problem is.
i drive it after installing the alt and its fine check the volts it between 14.6 13.6 ish with lights on and stuff. then i drive it around town for a week or if i drive it far like a hour or so my radio dies and i only have like 5 mins to get home before it dies completely. the last two alternators where churping right after i installed them.
CAN SOME ONE TELL ME MY PROBLEM OR HELP ME OUT IM CLUELESS WHAT ELSE TO TRY
thing i have tried

1 tested the single wire the red one and its getting 12v power

2 bought a new wire from the battery to the back of the alt so it was not haggerd and old and ran it straight from the alt to the batter positve side

3 grounded the alterntor braket out just to make sure im getting a good ground.

4 tested the alternator before i got a new one and they come back bad but when i buy them i have them tested and there good

5 the battery is brand new also
