Couple of things not right after TB swap..
My other concern is that the throttle is real punchy from a stop. I got the tb used but its in great shape. Is this normal, it seems to function fine on the road. Is it just tight or do I maybe need to adjust the throttle stop set screw?

To check for a vac leak spray some brake cleaner around the TB (after the MAF) if the idle stumbles you have a leak and need to address it.
And the whistling??? You should hear my FAST 102 on a cold start..

I'd definitely replace the TB gasket, and I'd use a torque wrench to ensure the TB is uniformly tightened to the intake.
