Default question about exhaust fitment.

some had some true duals made up for their lt1 camaro and I am interested in buying them. Is there any sort of adaptions that need to be made for an 02 trans am? I'm sure that there has to be something done, especially because of the 02 sensors. I just want to know what all would be in store for me.

Thanks, but it's not mine, Lane used to fabricate them and market them as "Lane's True Duals". His shop offered a number of options depending on what you wanted and these pics are an example.

Now whether or not a similar system might fit LT1's, I do not know. Lane's is no longer operating but Texas Speed sells similar kind of duals though doesn't yet have the fabrication for over the axle. I bet you could have any quality exhaust shop modify the LT1 version for the LS1 and probably would not be that difficult.

I'm not so sure it's a good idea to drive without that upper brace for the panhard bar...

No, it isn't. At the minimum, you would have to re-route the over-the-axle part, or relocate the upper panhard rod.
