I just bought a set of ls6 243's they came off of an 03 z06 with only 30k miles on it if that. The heads look good and have the prc dual springs good for .650 lift and have about 8k miles on them. The heads i bought are also the ones that have the triangles under the spark plug holes and i heard they are supposed to make an extra 7-10rwhp than the ones without. I have a few questions and i want to see if anyone can help me out.

1.Wheres the best place to have them ported?
2.How much more power will they make ported vs unported?
3.About how much would a port job and possibly a valve job cost?
4.Whats a good cam to go with these heads? Car is an a4 ls1 camaro.
5.What gaskets to go with?

I will also be buying an ls6 intake soon. maybe porting that also and port the tb. Im thinking about the tsp torquer v3 or the ms3 cam and possible a 3600-4000 stall but of course the stall speed will be determined with what cam i go with.

Any suggestions? Thanks

For the port I would only suggest west coast cylinder head, look to spend about $1500. For the cam it all depends on what your going to be using the car for: road course, autoX, dragstrip or weekend cruiser. And then choose your stall and gears that'll work best with the cam. Good luck with it all!
