headers beating floor pan. need advice

haha i havent forgot its a muscle car, its my DD but i want the performance and ride quality to be about even, i have a 72 chevelle the is MY muscle car.
im going to be dropping the cradle to pull the heads due to a broke header blot in the #7 cylinder. is there anything eles i should try an replace that might be worn out? the car has 103xxx miles onit and has been a NC car its whole life
