Default 408?

Just bought a ls2 block and thinking of going to a 408, my question is what size head would be the best to go with or such set of heads? Was thinking of useing the callies rotating asssembly with the -12 dish pistons. Any help would be great thanks

I would look at AFR 230 V2s from Air Flow Research, PRC 237s from Texas Speed, or TFS 235s from Total Engine Airflow.

All great suggestions. If you're looking for budget power, LS3 heads are hard to beat. They were my choice.

Intake manifold and intake rockers. That's it. The stock LS2 throttle body will bolt to the LS3 intake. The way I see it, if I went with aftermarket heads, I'd choke the **** out of them with an LS6/LS2 intake, so I'd also need a FAST intake. By the time I add that all up, aftermarket heads get real expensive compared to LS3s.

I too would go with TFS 235's, AFR 230s or TSP 237cc heads. Might check into Advanced Induction. They appear to be doing well also.
