Default How much HP out of a stock bottom NA LS!?

I picked up a very low mileage '01 LS1 and I'm considering dropping it in my '86 GN. Save maybe swapping in forged pistons and arp rod bolts, how much rwhp can I get out of it naturally aspirated? Heads, cam, intake and the assorted bolt ons. Electric water pump and only an alternator being driven.

Feel free to share with me what combos might make the most power.

Thanks guys!

depends on alot of factors like what cam and heads, but with the best of the best heads and a donkey dick cam you can get 500rwhp maybe a bit more. thats with a manual tranny of course.

Yeah, I was curious. Thanks for answering. I may just Procharge it, and build the motor up a little at a time.
