Default A/C mounting bolts leaking oil?

I had some mods done last spring and I just noticed that oil is leaking from the A/C mounting bolts. Do the bolts need to have sealant placed on them?? Do they go all the way into the oil pan? I hired someone to do the mods, heads, cam, intake on my 01 Camaro.

Thanks.

is it leaking a/c compressor oil? If one of the bolts was over torqued it can crack the compressor housing and leak.

HOO-BOY did I learn that lesson!

What color is the oil coming out? The holes into the block are blind-tapped. You can remove the compressor and leave these bolts out and all works fine.

Did the shop that did the work remove the A/C compressor? Even if they caused the problem, it's months later and I doubt they'll accept responsibility.

it appears to be engine oil. I just power washed everything to se if it is coming from above the compressor. I hope it's not the compressor. I though the mounting holes were blind taped I just wanted to make sure.

Thanks, Guys.

Compressor oil will have a green tint from the freon mixture, kinda like Predator blood.

There's no mistaking it for engine oil. If it's engine oil, somebody has made a real big boo-boo.
