PVC catch can reservoir

PVC catch can reservoir DON'T TO IT..... 
The reservoir collapsed...
There is so much suction from the engine, that the
reservoir now looks like a prune, & it torn open a
seam...

You can use PCV - but just not the usual stuff. I found out too how much suction there is in the system when I used a rather strong plastic canister that collapsed almost immediately.
The piece of PVC I am using is a joint that is straight - but threaded on the outside on on end. It is made pretty thick and has about a 3 inch Outside Diameter and is about 4 inches in length. I used a PVC "plug" plug on the un-threaded end and made that the bottom side - and screwed a rounded cap on the threaded end as the top side. I then tapped 2 of the neccessary fittings into this cap for the in and out hoses. I can simply unscrew the body from the top cap to empty. It tucks down behind my battery nicely and since it is white (white car) it doesn't stick out at all and I ran the hoses to where nothing looks out of the ordinary. All for less than $15 including extra hose and fittings. It's worked very well so far...
