Throwing Belts???

Throwing Belts??? Recently since i pulled my car out of storage my belt wants to fly off, say if i mash the gas at 60-70mph the belt comes off not always but often. my power steering also seems harder to turn. i heard that a bad p/s pump could be the cause of throwing the belt all the time. if its not anyone got any ideas what it could be? i tryed replacing the belt figuring it was streched from sitting so long but that didnt work, new one comes of also.

Try Thunder Racing products adjustable belt tensioner. Worked for me and 4 other people I know, seems to be a common problem for some 98-01 f-bods.

A new stock tensioner worked for me. The original one loses it's springiness over time, or of you put on a different sized belt (as in with an underdrive pulley swap).
