i have a 3" ypipe into a flowmaster 4" merge with a 4" dynatec splitflow muffler with a turndown before the axle, and im not gonna lie....its pretty damn loud in the car at any speed/rpm. It doesnt bother me though, i actually like it. Its not my DD, just a toy.

Also i wouldnt mess with doing a dumped ypipe unless you used the 4" flowmaster merge. Having 2, 3" pipes crash into 1, 3" pipe isnt going to flow well for maximum performance

I run a unknown magnaflow dumped of LTs & ORY.

It doesn't drone at all, mostly its because its a magnaflow.
I'm sure when I switch to my classic chambered power sticks, that may change.

True duals with Dynomax bullets or Borla XR-1s, either way it is going to be loud as hell and sound really good. I've been in LS1 cars with both setups.
