Funny o2 Sensor Issue
The car seemed to run fine, until I went to get it tuned.
I had a tuner come over with hptuners and all his gear, and he went through the DTC management to remove the codes for the egr and rear o2s. It was only after he did this that the car started sputtering/acting up under hard throttle.
After looking at some diagnostics he told me that my o2s were not in sync, and were not acting like they should be. He had never heard of the pcm pinout method so he suspects that that may have something to do with it. Should Also note that the car returned to normal when he reset the DTC manager to stock.
He seemed to think that my sensors were still okay, because they were both still giving readings, although fairly strange. He suggested undoing the pcm pinout and buying the o2 extensions.
What do you guys think? Bad o2s? Buy extensions?
Anyone ever had trouble with the pcm pinout method?
He showed me the real time data on the laptop and the sensors were reading far different from each other.
(Apparently they are supposed to read almost the same throughout the revs?)
