Are some headers louder than others?

Are some headers louder than others? Take my car for example..... mods in sig.... I know that different headers have different tones and sounds but in general are some louder than others....(I'm just talkin bout Long Tubes, and an Off Road Y-pipe with a cutout.

I do not think that there would be a noticable difference unless some brands were just alot thicker metal or just did not flow worth a damn. Other variables like cams and head design would play into the equation of sound as well if you are splitting hairs here.
yah it depends on the full setup...but apples to apples ie slp headers no cats & LM isnt gonna be much if any louder/quieter than kooks no cats & LM...I know this for a fact though a 93 TA w/ no cat & LM is louder than my 98 Z w/ LT's no cats & borla w/no plates so take that for what its worth
