I tossed my factory coolant reservoir after doing a battery relo...bought a 1 pint Goza Recalculating Catch Can which has a pin hoe on the top to allow for pressure exchange between can and radiator. However, when my car is cold coolant shoots out of this pin hole like a geyser. Since I'm running an EWP I thinking while the thermostat is closed during initial start and with EWP pumping hard the coolant has to go somewhere...ie, it floods the can and finds that pin hole at the top. That said, I plugged the hole and the problem went away but am I possibly causing a pressure problem within by coolant system .

should I go back to stock
This is the sales pitch for this can from Jeg's regarding the can...
"Not just a catch can, but a coolant recovery system! Recycles your coolant as does your everyday car, in order to maintain maximum fluid capacity. Extruded aluminum tank features billet caps and holds one pint of coolant."
Thanks for any input/help
