Default Help me with a DIY PCV setup with "Husky" Catch can

When I did the ls6 intake swap on my 00 SS the guy doing most of the work made some kind of PCV bypass.

I want to start anew, but the guy threw away all my factory PCV stuff. Said I wouldn't need it.

I'm go to start from scratch so any info and Part numbers will be helpful. Also it would be great if you could post pics of your setup. I'm going to try and mimic a factory setup with the addition of a catch can. I'll post some pics when i'm finished.

Supplies I think i'll need:

Couple feet of hose
PCV for ls6 intake (PN?)
Husky catch can

First question...What size/type hose should I use?

1. there is no such thing as a HUSKY catch can,, It is a filter for air compressors that some folks use as a catch can.
2. PCV valve is easy, go to autozone and match yours up, or they can give you the right one, its about 5 bucks.
3. I think I used 3/8 vacuum hose when I did this a while back, I ran what you are making, I have since chaged to a norris with braided line..
It did work,

It's an air/moisture separator that can be bought for about $12. I make these kits all the time in-house for about $20 total spent. Pretty cheap way to do a catch can.

Use some oil/fuel 3/8"ID hose. Length...3' min.-6'max., depending on how you configure the hoses.

Does this setup look right? I have no factory PCV lines to go by.
