Default Duralast Water Pump

I have a 01 Formula and my factory pump has been leaking for a while now. I dont have the money for a electric pump, I havnt realy found any solid advice on which pump is good. I hear that the LS1 water pumps are no longer made and we have to use LS2 pumps which have t-stat and t-stat housing as two peices. This pump says its a LS1 pump any help would be appreciated. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...536568_4487_0_

Looks like the one I got from Autozone to put on my LS6 last year and my LS1that came in the car originally, works fine for me. We are some what limited with either high dollar (Edelbrock, Meziere, Evans) low warr, or low dollar (autozone, orileys, Carquest) liftime warr, I change my WP every 2 years so the warr is whats important to me. I would say save your money and get the good warr. I do only use the rubberized alumunum gaskets, the pumps somtimes come with paper ones they seem to leak.

good luck
