Quick question here, not sure if this is the right section.

Does header wrap help to muffle some of the extra engine noise that is associated with headers? I noticed a decent amount of engine noise going from cast iron manifolds to coated steel headers, but now going to stainless headers I hear A LOT more engine noise and ticking. Wondering if some sort of header wrap will muffle this stuff somewhat?
