Prothane for the trans, hands down. Easiest mod to date. They also don't have an extra plate to worry about like the energy suspension ones.

For Motor mounts, I went Spohn solids, so I really can't help you there.

Prothane IS the brand.

You'll feel alot of vibrations when using poly mounts over rubber mounts. A lot of people suggest running poly motor mounts, and rubber tranny mounts to reduce the vibrating while still being able to run stronger engine mounts.

Im redoing my exhaust this winter and I am replacing my motor/tranny mounts with OEM rubber. I daily drive my car and I dont want to deal with any vibrations. If the stockers lasted 56k and at my power level Ill be fine using them again. Only reason I am replacing them is because Im installing new headers and I might as well do the motor mounts while Im in there for maintenance reasons..

Because it was explained to me this way, and this is what i did. Everyone makes their own choice.

Chevy installed rubber mounts to cut down on Vibration. Poly Mounts Transfer more vibration. Use a rubber trans mount because it is right under your *** and you can feel everything.

Now on my car i can feel the vibration from the motor and it is not too bad, but this is my DD and i want to be as comfortable as possible. If you are not too concerned with vibration.....that is up to you.

Removing the stock mounts and installing the new mounts is easy. Difficult part is getting the motor to line back up with the new mounts. You might get lucky, but chances are you'll need a friend with a breaker bar to move the motor around a bit to get everything to line up.

If your a M6 you'd be fine with a poly trans mount. Both of my cars have them and I couldn't tell a difference. I think the vibration is an auto thing.
