Default Spintech mufflers?

Anybody ever run spintech mufflers in a true duals system?

i know its not an ls1, but my brother ran spintech on his 79 TA with a 400 in it. It would visibly shake the windows of any fast food places we drove around, sounded great

I had spintechs on my GTO both in true dual and h-pipe setup.

Both sounded great, slight advantage to the h-pipe setup.

But they are loud (at least with headers), raspy (at least without cats) and drone like hell around 1500-2200 rpm.
