Default What to do...

Hey guys,

I have a 98 Z28 that I bought with no engine. I bought a 70k mi 2007 LQ4 with PRC LS6 2.5s, TSP 233/239 cam, FAST 102 intake, and 44lb injectors. It came with a Jantzer 92mm DBW throttle body that I know I can't use. It's a 10:1 CR and the car it was in ran a 11.23 @ 117 and weighed 3350. It was never dyno'd so I don't know what the RWHP is.

I need some advice on some TB and air intake options. I already have a SLP lid on the car, but if I were to buy a 102mm TB would I still be able to use it or should I spend the money and buy the FTP 104?

Another thing is the MAF. Would an 85mm be ok or should I save a little and get the TSP 100mm MAF?

--

I've got a grand total of about $11k into the car with all of the parts I have. This is including the car. So far I have:
-Everything mentioned above
-Performabuilt Lv2
-Yank SS4000
-Moser 9" (3.73s w/spool)
-PST driveshaft (In the mail)
-Flowmaster cat-back (came on the car)

I'll be buying the exhaust components over the next few weeks. So far, the definite parts are 1-7/8 Hooker headers, Mufflex Y, and a 4" cutout. The rest of it is still up in the air.

Also been looking around for suspension components. My car will be my DD, but it will see occasional track visits. I'm not sure what I'll need in terms of upgraded suspension. I'm thinking of getting the non-adj LCAs, adj torque arm that mounts to the tunnel brace location, and an adj panhard rod. Aside from shocks, is there anything else I should look into for the rear suspension?

For the front suspension, I'm just gonna upgrade that over time.

I want to cut as much weight as possible without removing stuff from the car. I.e. AC, stereo, etc. Rear seat, spare, jack, etc will be pulled prior to going to the track.

Sorry for all the questions. I just want to get things done the right way the first time so I don't end up spending more in the long run.

if you go 102 tb you can use a slp lid and 85 maf but the way i look at it why put a 102 tb with a 85 maf and a 88 lid but its not going to get the full 102 of air if it was me i would get a 100mm maf or better yet sd tune and a 104 lid also on any 99 up lsx engine the cam sensor is different then the 97-97 ls1 so make sure you have the correct cam sensor its much easier to change with the motor out

That's what I was thinking.

I'm also on a toss up between poly and solid engine mounts...

on suspension i would go with no adj lower arms and adj t arm but i would get a full length and a trans crossmember that has a t arm mount on it and an adjustablt panhard par should be fine

Why the longer TA? I've heard the shorter ones were better for traction... Maybe I've heard wrong?
