Difference Between 12" and 18" Bullets?

I would like to know what the difference is between the 12" and the 18" Dynomax bullet mufflers. The 18" are $1 more and I was wondering what the extra $1 would get me, besides more metal. Thanks a lot!

the LM has a 12 inch resonater that is basically the same thing...i switched to an 18" and the car quieted down considerably....also the longer the muffler, the less it will rasp.
