tapping water pump heater outlets for an fiitings

has anyone tapped the heater hose outlets for a npt to an adapter? hate seeing rubber hose in engine compartment. what i need to know is what size npt will match to the 3/4 and 5/8 outlets of the pump.

ones a 3/8 npt and the other is 1/2 npt, you just need to pull the steel nipples out and tap. you dont even need to enlarge the holes as they already are the corret size.
