Can you see them from the backside/underside of the hood? seems like a cool idea... Just wanted to see, thats all...

Like I said, all you can see is the outlet end of the ducts where they meet the rectangular plate - I'll have to see what I can do as far as pics later when I'm home...

Actually, the concept would work to some degree by just removing your baffles - just not as well, because the ducts direct the air immediately from the hood openings straight back to the outlet. Without the ducts, the air would enter and be able to ***** nilly spread around withing the double walled area of the hood before exiting the rectangular slot.
