I think the kooks system would have been perfect, sound wise, if it had some better mufflers vs the glass pack type they have on it. (I am also 402 ci, no cats so I am sure that contributes)

I actually thought the system was way to quiet, but the car I heard it on had hi-flo cats.

I called ARH just to confirm and they only fab TD's for cars that are in their posession. I'm so flip-floppy on a Y vs TD's and can't make up my mind. Now I'm leaning toward the kooks system after seeing what a restriction my GMMG can be on a H/C/I car. Was quoted $1700 for custom 3" stainless out the back from a local shop. I've seen the Kooks for as low as $1500 with cats so that seems to be the way to go for a stainless setup.

^^^in my personal opinion, unless you need stainless, I would go with the tsp duals. They can be bought without the mufflers so you can choose a better option than what they offer, and I know plenty of shops will extend them out the back later on.

I went with the tsp duals with the bullets and ran them for a while then sold the bullets and bought some 3.5 inch oval in/out single chambers. Hoping to have them on this spring.

^^ I've had the car for 10 years and plan on keeping it forever so I need something that will last. My aluminized Kooks y-pipe has plenty of surface rust on it after sitting in a heated garage for most of it's life.

I've got a custom set of true duals with high flow cats and Dynomax bullets. Thesound is amazing as well as clearence.I ran mine under the axel because I didn't want to buy the relocation bracket and still have better clearence then my 3" tsp ory. It's 2.5" and i used that spray on black ceramic coating looks great. Sleeper look and now i no longer need to worry about rust. I live in Colorado and the car is always outside.

Sorry the exhaust wasn't fully coated yet and yes i know i look like a redneck in the video lol

I ended up going Kooks TD's and am happy with it. I guess they use different mufflers on the 5th gen system, so that's why it's louder than the setup I heard. Wasn't the easiest to install but sounds much better than my old GMMG.
