Exhaust sound clip request
Exhaust sound clip request When I bought my car it was stock minus Borla cat-back. All I got was the wide open plate which was fine. Now with these LT's and OR-Y its getting old. I don't mind loud, but I want it to have a nice sound. In my quest for a good sound I made a plate with a 1.5" hole in it. Still don't care for the sound. Drivers side seems alright, but the passenger side sounds like ****. I swear when I rev it a little at idle and the RPM's come down the passenger side tip sounds like a freakin wet fart. Drivers side fine. Passengers side also vibrates and rattles my car. It so easy to tell that is where its coming from.
Now to my questions-Anybody have a sound clip with LT's with a closed plate or maybe a plate with a very small hole in it?
Anybody just changed the tips out and it sound better? I am thinking about ditching it all together and getting a Magnaflow with the dual tips on each side, but I just wanna weigh my options before I drop money on something that I could have fixed cheaper.

You might be able to install a Kooks #R300-10, or A Magnaflow #14159 in the short section of pipe before the exhaust tips on the passenger side. Another,easier option is a Car Chemistry pipe insert #3DI03R.
