The 233/239 is good and all but.cam design has advanced way beyond the old days of XER lobes. The EPS proprietary lobes make more power while being less abusive on the valvetrain with considerably less "sewing machine" noise. After going from a Torquer 2 to my custom cam from EPS/PatG I'll always recommend them based on the night and day differences.

Congrats! You won't be disappointed....now find a good tuner. That big cam will be nasty but tempermental is improperly tuned.

 

Yessir. I've got my tuner already lined up. Some 42 # injectors and I'm ready to go!

 

whats a good idle speed with that tsp cam? I am running it and it idles around 900. Dont have A/C so I would like to lower it to get a bit more lope.

 

I wouldn't think you'd want it any lower
