Passenger side catalytic converter

hey guys im new to this forum andI just picked up a 2000 ss really clean car but the passenger side cat is rattling. Now its not throwing any codes yet but I plan on getting headers in a couple months so my question is should I just leave it alone for now and use 1 hi flow cat when i buy my headers or replace the stock cat now. the cheapest direct fit one that i found was like $180 so id rather buy a used one off someone on here till then. The car has a slp cat back right now.

I would just leave it, not going to hurt anything, will just be annoying and you might see a little decrease in gas mileage and performance. Also, when you buy headers you have to buy a new Y-Pipe to go along with them anyways, which will come with brand new cats.
Just gut it. It's the material inside that has broken apart and is rattling around. My car had the same problem, thankfully it was still under warranty so it was replaced for free, but I wouldn't spend money replacing it if I were you. Save the money for headers.
when i did long tube headers and ory pipe, i bought some high flowbullet converters for 30 a piece and spliced them in, but it would be easier to just get a y pipe with cats already on it...
oh and just for reference me and my cousin both have LS camaros with the exact same hedman headers/y pipe and slp LM cat back exhausts only difference is his car does not have any cats and that son of a bitch is WAY louder than mine!!! Although i bet you the backpressure of the cats picked me up some low end torque on him lol!!!
