Cast heads

Cast heads I hope I'm posting in correct area, but here's my question. My buddy has a 2000 GMC, it is the 6.0 w cast heads. I don't know the casting numbers, but I have a set of 317 factory aluminum heads from an 07 6.0. Other than weight savings, is there any benefits to me selling these heads. I'd like to help a buddy out, and help him get into a future ls swap, so honest answers would be an immense help thanks in advance

honestly i have only seen a hand full of factory cast iron heads on ls engines and i work for gm i wouldnt see much benefit in selling them because most people who have there heads off are looking to go aluminum any ways thats just my opinion you could always try never hurts would be interested to see a pic of them how many miles are on them and what condition is the engine
