LS6, FAST 90,92 or 102???

Yeah it lost 2 or 3 if I remember correctly on the engine dyno. You will never feel that. Also GM High tech now doesnt use anything else nor does hot rod. Neither does high performance pontiac. And no you arent because the cam and heads determine powerband. If the heads dont flow more the powerband will remain the same, it will not shift up or down. The better intake will improve airflow at different rpms and make more power but it wont move

But see when you say the 102 will gain over the 90 (which is true when it comes to peak power) but you leave out the fact that at minimum the power shifts in the rpm range...I have seen countless tests where a 102 replaces an LS6 and it loses tq in the lower rom range, and while I don't have an experience with the *** dyno I'm not lying either...search Gmhightechperformance and hot rod ls1 cam tests and you will see what I'm describing...(and don't give me the magazine conspiracy theorist comment bc that's a whole other conversation in itself)
And like stated, if you are gaining 10+Rwhp everywhere else, nice tradeoff.

thats a good point. My car never sees south of 5500 at the track.

[QUOTE=03EBZ06;15871697]Recently cracked my lower end on the FAST90. I have to get a new intake, but at this point, I am very skeptical about the 102.
How much power is the 102 worth over a 90, if any?? web links?
I may have to fix my 90 somehow. Are there other options out there?
See engine in sig.[/QUOTE
Ive done plastic welding using from a solder gun to my current lcd controlled hot air gun from urethane supply co. You need identical material to plastic weld. Also plastic welds need to be thicker on one side because the plastic doesn,t cross link molecularly as when it's first formed. On thermoplastics , you have to be careful of warping . It is possible though, but what do I know about plastic welding.

Should have seen the FAST thread in the newbie section. 10 replies that the LS6 didn't lose anything under 450 rwhp or you had big heads and a cam. Even though GMHTP gained double digit numbers on a 460fwhp LS1 with bolt ons and a 224/230 cam
