Default L92 and TBSS?

I have a TBSS intake and am about to buy a set of L92 heads(823). Wanted to make sure they will mate with out any problems.

Are there differant L92 heads? If so what are they. The guy I bought the motor from had L92s on it but wasn't sure if there were more then one type of L92 head.

I think I answered my own question. The TBSS intake seems to be the L92 truck intake.

If this is true someone confirming would be awesome! I was in a hurry to solidify a deal on my heads.

So I should go back to my original plan of port and polishing my 317s.

I called livenois and to cnc the 317s it will cost me $1099. I think I will hold off. I have one head started on for the port and polish by hand. I am going to give them a shot.

For a little bit of back story the motor was over 13:1 with the l92s. So I will still have high 12s with the 317s. Later down the road I will have a set cnced or swap to a differant head but that can wait for now.

243s are a good choice for me correct? How much smaller is the chamber then my 317s. Do they flow much better?

The info I could find is they flow nearly identica but the 243 has a smaller chamber. I would be better off to have my head milled slightly. Obviously I have plenty of compression with the stock 317s but for a race/weekend motor why not have more!

TBSS intake WILL NOT work with L92/LS3 heads. Totally different port configuration.
