Default Intake?

Ls6 or BBK or Weiand? I'm rolling on stock now and don't want to spend the money for a fast. Not in the budget. I have H/C, long tubes, maf, 42lb's, Y pipe, cat back with no cat's.

LS6 is a great bang for your buck, but I have also heard good things about the BBK. Lot of different opinions on the topic though.

This might help a little bit

Go with the LS6 until you can step up to a FAST intake setup.

Get a ls6 then you could paint it before you install it.

Ls6 is a great budget intake. The extra money for a bbk or weiand I think can be spent elsewhere perhaps on a ported throttle body to compliment the intake. You can find them used in the classifieds ad for $350. I wouldn't pay anymore than that for one. P

honest i dont think its worth it to buy a aftermarket tb, ls6 and ported stocker or bump up to a fast setup, as far as the 2933 heads thats a new one for me lol

I can't find anything on the heads Anywhere. All i know is the valves are +100ht or the seats are lowered. They have double springs, Coil bind is around .698in.

I agree, only two real options in my opinion on street cars;

1. Budget - LS6
2. Most power - FAST

I bet 90% of LS6 intakes you see for sale is because they are finally picking up a FAST.

Might be worth the time getting those heads flow tested. Swapping in a bigger throttle body won't be an option unless you get a bigger intake - unless you buy an LS6 and do the TPIS 90mm conversion but at that price point, it's a waste imo. With the mods you posted, I'd splurge and get the fast. Probably going to need a fuel pump as well imo.

Fuel pump done three cams ago but thanks. The only thing i have left to change is the intake and T/B. The heads are on the car and don't want to take them off.
