relocate coils
relocate coils I have been thinking about moving my coils and just wanted to get some opinions on my idea. I know most put them under the windshield. Since my new headers did away with egr and the air pump, while taking the air pump out I started thinking this may be a good place to put the coils. For those that don't know the air pump is just in front of the drivers side wheel and is accessed from a little trap door under the car. There is a lot of room in there. The wires would not be that long. I know the wires need to be as short as possible. I looked up everything I would need on Summit and I can get everything for about $100.00. That's 8.5 mm bulk wire, the ends, and me making the wires up.
The passenger side coils would go in the same spot on the other side.
