i honestly felt no difference what so ever but again it doesnt mean i didnt gain any and am just on bolts on...it also looks better with no egr, air and a nice painted intake while you are there.

The FAST 102 is pretty bad ***, until that piece of plastic cracks and causing tuning issues.

i gained 1 mph at the track after swapping my ls1 intake for an ls6.

my $0.02: i don't think they are worth the money, at all. i'd rather put that $400+ toward a fast or victor setup, knowing the potential of the other intakes will far surpass that of an ls6. it's harder for me to accept paying $400+ for an intake i know will be outperformed by a long shot compared to the others when real mods make their way to the car. wait another month or however long it takes you to save money and buy a real intake. if all i had was the $400 to spend on an intake, i'd find other places to put it. especially for a bolt-on car. i gained more from pulling my air filter than i did by installing an ls6 intake.

This ^^. I haven't looked in a while, but the going price in the classifieds here for a long time was as stated above.

I went from 13.2s @ 108 to consistent 12.8s @ 110 so I was very happy with the swap. Not trying to say picking up .4 in the 1/4 is typical, it did make my fairly stock header only car run much stronger.

If you can find an LS6 for $300 or under it is def. worth it & noticeably better than any LS1 intake. It doesnt compare to a FAST but compared to any other non fabbed intake its very close within a few hp & it has that stock stealthy look.

you picked up quite a bit, but what we need to be looking at is the mph increase. i picked up over 1.5 mph just from removing my air filter. you picked up 1.5-2 mph with the intake.

my 99 car trapped over 109 with just a lid and weld in 80 series muffler. i don't see how it could get much faster, even with an ls6 intake. i just put headers on it a few weeks ago, but i haven't had a chance to get back to the track. not to mention my factory installed clutch hydraulics are starting to get upset ...

I didnt pick anything up removing my air filter but I did have to go buy a new one the next day after I realized I left it at the track that night.

Mine had a weld in Borla at the time, dont know how good the muffler was. Replaced it with the GMMG after the baffles started to rattle. 109 with just a lid & muffler is damn good no LTs.
