Default intake manifold question

i have a 2000 z28 with part #12560688 intake (with EGR) and found a #12556333 intake(without EGR setup), and from what i researched there both 97 to 00 stock ls1 manifolds. Is there any extra power to be gained by switching from the 12560688 to the 12556333?

Exactly what you just said....one has erg the other doesn't. Now if you get a ls6 manifold there is some power to be had

I agree, there isn't going to be any real power difference between the two.

just cut your egr tube that protrudes inside the intake and thats the only difference you will have gained.

Or if you need to have a EGR you can get a SLP LS6 manifold. Thats what I ended up having to do.

I plan on getting rid of the EGR, the cats, the air injection system, and doing a few other things to it then taking it to get a street tune
