Default Coil pack question

I have a LT1 firebird and I have a quick question for you ls1 guys... and be easy on me LOL!! I have a 01 silverado with the 5.3 (327) with the individual coil packs on it and just recently got a set of ls3 coils and plug wires from a blown up GM ct525 crate with less than 200 miles on it from work and was wondering if they would be fine to put on my pickup. As long as everything plugs in I wold think that it would't hurt to upgrade to the newer coils but figured that I would check here first. The part number on the new ones are ac delco 12611424.

Thanks for the help!!

As long as you get the coil harnesses they should plug in and work fine.

Thanks for the reply's guys, I pretty much unplugged the main connector going to the coil pack harness and unbolted the packs/harness and mount from the valve cover of the 525 and removed it in one complete assembly. Im going to install them tomorrow.
