What else should i replace
What else should i replace Fellas im gonna be doing a 243, ls6 intake, new coil pack and injector stall during the early spring. What else should i replace while im inn there. Cant afford a cam swap at the moment, maybe down the line. With these parts and a new tune what gains should i expect? Any input would be great!
Nothing wrong in particular, car has 150k+ and i was able to get new coils w brackets, injectors, etc from a take off crate motor, all for $150. Figured it wouldnt hurt to slap them on just as a little preventative maintenance.
Thats a good deal, I thought you were spending 300+ on the msd coils and expecting gains.
Just my $.02, I would save up a little more money and get a cam, lifters, timing chain and oil pump. Then install all your parts at once and get your tune done. This way your not doing some of the same job twice, and having to pay for another tune if you throw a cam in it later.
