Lm7 in my ls1 camaro
Lm7 in my ls1 camaro I need some oppions on putting the Lm7 iron block in my 98 camaro. My ls1 is blown and i have a 5.3 i can get for 300. I would like to know what kind of numbers you guys put down with the 5.3 with just a cam and bolt ons. Im shooting for mid to low 12's maybe even high 11's with stock heads.
Any suggestion on cams?

I'd probably do the same thing if my ls1 ever lets go. There isn't alot of horsepower difference there. But you will obviously gain some weight to go with it. In my eyes its worth the extra weight/tiny bit of horsepower loss over spending 4x more money for a good running ls1
