personally I like my pacesetters...they are in the same price range and quality as the hookers...might be something to consider.

i like my Hookers. Picked them up used for $300. if u are lookin to save some money go with some pacesetters like foff said. although i hear there is more of a tendancy to have k-member issues with the pacesetters. none with my hookers. hope this helps.

If you want Hooker's then look at flowtech or Jet-hot. I believe both are cheaper yet share the same basic design. I am not sure about their quality but I know that the Jet-Hot's have their O2's on the inside of the Header collectors making O2 removal and installation alot easier.

I have the Hookers and ORY. Very happy with the results. As someone above mentioned the hook up for the O2 sims is on the outside if that matters to you.

I can remember when hookers where the cheap headers around. I have them on my car and they work great. Ive heard a few fitment issues with the flowtech and pacesetters. They are both just too cheap for me to put any trust in them.

Hooker does make a very nice header, good quality for the price! I have yet to hear anyone complain about how they fit. They also make great power. One thing to keep in mind, Hooker has been around for a long time & they should know how to tune a header for the most HP gain... E-mail me or PM me for great pricing!!!

So what's the verdict? Is it worth saving a few bucks with flowtech and pace setter. I see a fews guys saying they had to crush and cut. Maybe its not worth the trouble of all this. Is it best to just get the hookers?

I wouldn't chance flowtech or pacesetter because of fitment issues. I have hookers, they went in great, good clearance, perform great, only thing is that 02 sensors are on the outside. Jethot makes a good header. The first batches had the k-member problem, but i think that was corrected. They also have thicker tubes, thicker flanges, 02sensors are on the inside, and the coating looks better than hookers. Otherwise exact same as hookers.
