CAI coating to reflect heat???
CAI coating to reflect heat??? Anybody have any good suggestions for some good DIY coatings or wraps that i can use on my CAI piping that will reflect heat so the pipe doesnt soak up so much and looks good at the same time? Thanks

I assume this is aluminum tubing. What I do is get a ceramic thermal barrier coating put on the inside of the tubing. The place I go to uses the same stuff they put on the top of pistons. On the outside I have them put on a black heat dispersant coating.
Try reflectix insulation wrap from any major home improvement store. It's self adhesive and reflects heat away from the piping.
You don't need to do the inside, that's where you have cold air. You need to do the outside so you can prevent heat from the engine and manifolds from getting into the intake tube.
