Default New Timing Chain

My chain on my ls1 motor that im refreshing had 140,000 miles on it should I get a new chain. I have a little over average size cam in it. I also got a 5.3 timing chain that had 40k on it will it work with my ls1 cam sprocket I haven't counted the teeth on them to see if there the same.

The 5.3L chain will fit on your gears, but I would spend the $60 and get a ls2 chain. It's links are thicker than both ls1 and lm7 chains you have.
